The Nursery School Worthing

Our Worthing nursery is set in a beautiful, detached Edwardian villa in central Worthing.

Located close to the seafront, the property retains many of its stunning original features, such as stained glass windows, picture rails and fireplaces whilst benefiting from being completely refurbished to our very high standards.

Worthing is a small, bespoke nursery which offers a warm and cosy home from home feel.

The nursery features an all weather wrap-around garden, outdoor classroom and sensory garden.

September Intake

Admissions To The Nursery School Worthing:

The Nursery School Worthing is a September intake setting.
The Nursery School Worthing charge a registration fee of £100;
Once your place has been offered, we require a £200 deposit, which will be refunded once you leave;
The Nursery School Worthing have a minimum attendance of 3 full days of which 1 must be a Monday or Friday.

If no places are available then you may join our waiting list and we will inform you should a place become available .

Places are offered in order of the following priority:

a child who is currently at The Nursery School Worthing;
a child who has a sibling already in attendance;
a child transferring from another Nursery School Company setting;
the date of waiting list request;
a child wishing to start at the beginning of September.
full time bookings will get given priority over full day requests.
priority will be given to full days before sessional requests.

The Small Print

Changing or cancelling your place

To cancel or change the sessions your child attends or to cancel your place we require 2 months notice in writing.

Should you choose not to start with us then we will not be able to refund either your £100 registration fee or your £200 deposit.

Hours

We are open from 7.30am – 6pm we do not charge any extra for early starts or late finishes.

We are open 51 weeks a year however this excludes our inset day and bank holidays.

The Nursery School Company closes for one week between Christmas and New Year and for one staff training day per year.

Funding

Early years free entitlement (15 hours) is Government funding which pays for up to 570 hours/year of free education to all 3&4 years olds in England from the term after their third birthday. This covers 15 hours per week. Parents may be able to access an additional 15 hours provided they meet the eligibility criteria. For more information about funding please follow this link .
