The Nursery School Charlwood

We are excited to announce the coming of our new nursery which is set in a stunning early 17th century Tudor country house in Charlwood, Crawley.

Located in 4.5 acres of garden and woodland, the property retains many of its stunning original features, such as windows, fireplaces and Horsham stone roof. The nursery is will be receiving a full refurbishment following our opening.

At the Nursery School Company we charge a registration fee of £70.

When your place is confirmed we require a £200 deposit which will be deducted from your final month invoice.

Minimum attendance is 3 sessions however priority is given to full days.

If no places are available then you may join our waiting list and we will inform you should a place become available .

Places are offered in order of the following priority:

  • a child who is currently at the NSC;
  • a child who has a sibling already in attendance (additional registration fee not required);
  • the date of waiting list request;
  • priority will be given to full days before sessional requests.

The Small Print

Changing or cancelling your place

To cancel or change the sessions your child attends or to cancel your place we require 2 months notice in writing.

Should you choose not to start with us then we will not be able to refund your £200 deposit without two months notice of the child’s start date.

We only accept online payments for registration and invoices must be paid by direct debit.

 

Hours

We are open from 7.30am – 6pm we do not charge any extra for early starts or late finishes.

We are open 51 weeks a year however this excludes our inset day and bank holidays.

The Nursery School Company closes for one week between Christmas and New Year.

 

Funding

Early years free entitlement (15 hours) is Government funding which pays for up to 570 hours/year of free education to all 3&4 years olds in England from the term after their third birthday. This covers 15 hours per week. Parents may be able to access an additional 15 hours provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

 

*Fees are calculated on the 51 weeks of the year that we are open, averaged into 12 monthly payments i.e each invoice is for 4.25 weeks.
Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days.
